T‐Odd Anomalous Interactions of the Top‐Quark at the Large Hadron Collider
We study the effects of T‐odd interactions of top‐quark via the pair production of the top‐quark in the semileptonic detection modes at the Large Hadron Collider by means of the T‐odd observables constructed through the momenta of the observed decay products of the top (and anti‐top)‐quark for a wide range of CP‐violating scale Λ.

The Physics Case for an Electron‐Muon Collider
An electron‐muon collider with an asymmetric collision profile targeting multi‐ab-1 integrated luminosity is proposed. This novel collider, operating at collision energies of, e.g., 20–200 GeV, 50–1000 GeV, and 100–3000 GeV, would be able to probe charged lepton flavor violation and measure Higgs boson properties precisely. The collision of an electron

Multijet events and parton showers [PDF]
We propose a general approach for the description of multijet events in the framework of QCD event generators. We introduce a new algorithm to match parton showers and arbitrary matrix elements for the production of any number of jets via the strong or electroweak interaction. We developped a new parton cascade code capable to deal with multijet events

Recent observations of QGP‐like conditions in high‐multiplicity pp collisions from ALICE experiment at the LHC warrant an introspection whether to use pp collisions as a baseline measurement to characterize heavy‐ion collisions for the possible formation of a Quark‐Gluon Plasma.

Cutoff dependence of the thrust peak position in the dipole shower
We analyse the dependence of the peak position of the thrust distribution on the cutoff value in the Nagy–Soper dipole shower. We compare the outcome of the parton shower simulations to a relation of the dependence from an analytic computation, derived ...

TMD parton distributions from parton showers [PDF]
We present the determination of Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) parton distributions from Monte Carlo parton showers. We investigate the effective TMD distributions obtained from the PYTHIA8 and HERWIG6 parton showers and compare them to the TMD distributions determined within the Parton Branching method.

PARTON SHOWERS AND MULTIJET EVENTS [PDF]
A Monte-Carlo event-generator has been developed which is dedicated to simulate electron-positron annihilations. Especially a new approach for the combination of matrix elements and parton showers ensures the independence of the hadronization parameters from the CMS energy.

Multiplicative-accumulative matching of NLO calculations with parton showers
We propose a new approach for combining next-to-leading order (NLO) and parton shower (PS) calculations so as to obtain three core features: (a) applicability to general showers, as with the MC@NLO and POWHEG methods; (b) positive-weight events, as with ...

We report on the possibility of reweighting parton-shower Monte Carlo predictions for scale variations in the parton-shower algorithm. The method is based on a generalization of the Sudakov veto algorithm. We demonstrate the feasibility of this approach using example physical distributions.
