RACK7 Interacts with PRC2 Complex to Regulate Astrocyte Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study investigates the role of RACK7 in brain development using a conditional knockout mouse model. RACK7 deficiency results in developmental defects and abnormal astrocyte development by disrupting H3K27me3 chromatin binding. The underlying mechanism involves RACK7 interacting with the PRC2 complex to regulate the genomic localization of SUZ12 and

ISG15 Enhances the Activity of γ‐Glutamate Cysteine Ligase to Suppress Apoptosis in High Fat Diet‐Promoted Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells under high‐fat environment constrain harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS) by enhancing glutathione synthesis though upregulating interferon stimulated gene 15 (ISG15). In this process, upregulated high mobility group A1 (HMGA1) enhances ISG15 transcription, upregulated ISG15 subsequently noncovalently binds with ...

PRDX6 Prevents NNMT Ubiquitination and Degradation as a Nonenzymatic Mechanism to Promote Ovarian Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 12, March 27, 2025.
This study unravels a crucial oncogenic mechanism of the antioxidant enzyme PRDX6 in ovarian cancer beyond its enzymatic mechanisms. PRDX6 interacts with and upregulates NNMT via preventing TRIM56‐mediated ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, thereby activating MAPK signaling and promoting ovarian cancer progression.
