The genus Passiflora is popularly used to treat anxiety. Recent studies showed antidepressant-like effects of two varieties of P. edulis (edulis and flavicarpa) in mice. However, the mechanisms of antidepressant actions are still unknown. Here, the effects of P. edulis fo. edulis aqueous extract (AE, 100-300mg/kg, po), and ethyl acetate (AcOEt, 25-50mg/

Autotoxicity of continuoulys cropped passion fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims) soil
Allelopathy Journal, 2021We determined the soil autotoxicity in the rhizosphere soil of passion fruit continued cropping up to 3 years, and analyzed the changes in the enzyme activity, microbial quantity and diversity in rhizosphere soil. The results showed that the autotoxicity of passion fruit rhizosphere soil increases with the increase in continuous cropping years.
