Sleep assistive dynamic bandwidth assignment scheme for passive optical network (PON)

In passive optical network (PON), in addition to efficient bandwidth management, a dynamic bandwidth assignment (DBA) scheme can also enhance the energy efficiency performance of the optical networks units (ONUs) during sleep mode.
