Combating VEGFA‐siRNA‐Induced Metabolic Reprogramming via Glucose Utilization Deprivation
An ionizable lipid nanoparticle co‐delivers VEGFA siRNA and glucose oxidase to tumors to counteract VEGFA knockdown‐induced, glutamine‐driven metabolic compensation. Enzymatic glucose consumption reverses the adaptive pathways and restores metabolism toward baseline, thereby sensitizing tumors to therapy.

Upon inhalation, RM@TNT could persist long‐term in the diseased lungs, while undergoing disintegration to release TNT specifically within the ROS‐rich pathological microenvironments of SA‐ARDS. The released TNT was then precisely delivered to AMs via Tuftsin, where it released Nob intracellularly to activate BMAL1 expression, thus inhibiting AM ...

An Experimental Investigation on the Air Permeability of Passive Ventilation Grilles
AbstractThe need of increasing both energy saving and acoustic insulation has leaded to the design of lowest air permeability frames resulting in the worsening of indoor air quality. Moreover, sometime in several civil-use existing buildings (i.e. schools or houses, historical buildings) mechanical ventilation systems cannot be installed due to non ...

A study of passive ventilation integrated with heat recovery [PDF]
To meet the demand for energy demand reduction in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, a novel design incorporating a heat recovery device into a wind tower was proposed. The integrated system uses a rotary thermal wheel for heat recovery at the base of the wind tower.

Multi‐scale Optimization on Interfacial Evaporative Cooling for Photovoltaic Performance Enhancement
This study presents a passive siphon‐driven interfacial evaporative cooling technology for photovoltaics. A multiscale multiphysics model is developed and validated experimentally. Results show that optimizing installation parameters reduces operating temperature by up to 22.3 °C and boosts power efficiency by 8.9%, offering a practical pathway for ...
