Vibration Analysis of Functionally Graded Timoshenko Beams on Winkler–Pasternak Elastic Foundation
Iranian Journal of Science and Technology, Transactions of Civil Engineering, 2019This paper aims to analyze dynamic response of axially functionally graded (FG) Timoshenko beams on Winkler–Pasternak elastic foundation. Spring constant and material inhomogeneity are used as research parameters in the dynamic analysis. In this study, ODEs in Laplace domain are calculated by using complementary functions method.

Free vibration of a simply-supported magneto-electro-elastic doubly-curved thin shell resting on a Pasternak foundation is investigated based on Donnell theory. The rotary inertia effect is considered in the formulation. Maxwell equations for electrostatics and magnetostatics are used to model the electric and magnetic behavior.

Abstract Exact solutions for functionally graded thick plates are presented based on the three-dimensional theory of elasticity. The plate is assumed isotropic at any point, while material properties to vary exponentially through the thickness. The system of governing partial differential equations is reduced to an ordinary one about the thickness ...

Abstract In the present investigation, the buckling behaviours of porous double-layered functionally graded nanoplates in hygrothermal environment are presented for the first time. The nonlocal strain gradient theory with two material scale parameters is developed to examine buckling behaviour much accurately.

Vibration of circular sandwich plates with FG face sheets on the Pasternak elastic foundation
In this paper, the free vibration behaviour of the circular sandwich plates with two functionally graded face sheets on the Pasternak elastic foudation is investigated in a clamped boundary condition based on a high order sandwich plate theory. By considering the inplane stresses of the core the theory is modified and the obtained equation is more ...openaire +1 more source
DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF HETEROGENEOUS ANISOTROPIC PLATES RESTING ON THE PASTERNAK ELASTIC FOUNDATION
2018In this study, the effects of elasticfoundation on the frequencies of the heterogeneous orthotropic plates usingshear deformation plate theory are investigated. Pasternak elastic foundationmodel is used to define the reaction of two-parameter elastic media on theplate. The formulation of the problem is based on the Donnell type platetheory.
