A new analytic symplectic elasticityapproach for beams resting on Pasternak elastic foundations [PDF]
Analytic solutions describing the stresses and displacements of beams on a Pasternak elastic foundation are presented using a symplectic method based on classical two-dimensional elasticity theory. Hamilton’s principle with a Legendre transformation is employed to derive the Hamiltonian dual equation, and separation of variables reduces the dual ...

Vibration analysis of structural elements using differential quadrature method
The method of differential quadrature is employed to analyze the free vibration of a cracked cantilever beam resting on elastic foundation. The beam is made of a functionally graded material and rests on a Winkler–Pasternak foundation.

Nonlocal Buckling and Vibration Analysis of Triple-Walled ZnO Piezoelectric Timoshenko Nano-beam Subjected to Magneto-Electro-Thermo-Mechanical Loadings [PDF]
In this study, using the non-local elasticity theory, the buckling and vibration analysis of triple- walled ZnO piezoelectric Timoshenko beam on elastic Pasternak foundation is analytically investigated under magneto-electro-thermo-mechanical loadings ...

Buckling Analysis of a Nanowire Lying on Winkler–Pasternak Elastic Foundation
This article studies the axial buckling of a nanowire (NW) lying on Winkler–Pasternak substrate medium with the Timoshenko beam theory. The surface effect of the NW is accounted for with the Steigmann–Ogden model. An explicit solution of the critical buckling force and its associated buckling mode are obtained analytically.
