An Extension of the Pasternak Foundation Concept
ABSTRACT The Pasternak Foundation concept, a refinement of the Winkler Foundation theory, is briefly stated and its shortcomings pointed out. The [concept is extended to take into account material nonlinearity and body forces using an analytical approach.

Stability Analysis of Non-Local Euler-Bernoulli Beam with Exponentially Varying Cross-Section Resting on Winkler-Pasternak Foundation [PDF]
In this paper, linear stability analysis of non-prismatic beam resting on uniform Winkler-Pasternak elastic foundation is carried out based on Eringen's non-local elasticity theory.

Quantification of cracks in beams on the Pasternak foundation using Haar wavelets and machine learning [PDF]
The inverse problem of crack identification, localisation and severity quantification is addressed in this article. The open cracks are simulated numerically in a homogeneous EulerâBernoulli beam. The beam rests on the Pasternak foundation.

Behaviors of pile-column piers based on modified pasternak foundation model
The analysis of behaviors of pile-column piers in layered soils under inclined loads is extremely complicated. An improved Pasternak foundation reaction model considering the plastic yield characteristics of soils is proposed.

Hydroelastic oscillation of a plate resting on Pasternak foundation [PDF]
The bending oscillations of the plate, resting in Pasternak foundation and interacting with a vibrating stamp through a thin layer of viscous incompressible liquid, are investigated. On the basis of hydroelasticity problem solution, the laws of the plate deflections and pressure in the liquid are found.
