Düzce Asarsuyu Havzası peyzaj değerlendirmesi ve yönetim modelinin geliştirilmesi

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural Sciences, 2009

Stochastic models in population biology and their deterministic analogs

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper we introduce a class of stochastic population models based on "patch dynamics". The size of the patch may be varied, and this allows one to quantify the departures of these stochastic models from various mean field theories, which are ...

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

sMRI-PatchNet: A Novel Efficient Explainable Patch-Based Deep Learning Network for Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis With Structural MRI

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Structural magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI) can identify subtle brain changes due to its high contrast for soft tissues and high spatial resolution. It has been widely used in diagnosing neurological brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Evaluation of spatial variability of the vegetation cover in arid and semiarid areas using measures of landscape ecology (Case study: Poshtkooh rangelands of Yazd) [PDF]

open access: yesمدیریت بیابان, 2016
Landscape ecology is one of theyoungest branches of ecology science, and especially deals on the study of landscape composition, structure and function.  Landscape elements are such as patches, corridors, matrixalong the border and ecotons.

Fully Portraying Patch Area Scaling with Resolution: An Analytics and Descriptive Statistics-Combined Approach

open access: yesLand, 2021
Scale effects are inherent in spatial analysis. Quantitative knowledge about them is necessary for properly interpreting and scaling analysis results.

Exploring Context with Deep Structured models for Semantic Segmentation

open access: yes, 2017
State-of-the-art semantic image segmentation methods are mostly based on training deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs). In this work, we proffer to improve semantic segmentation with the use of contextual information.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...
