Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

A Dual-Beam Filtering Antenna Based on Dual-Mode Patch Loaded With π-Shaped Vias

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation
In this paper, a dual-beam filtering patch antenna is proposed, wherein a symmetrical π-shaped metal vias-loaded dual-mode patch and a cross-shaped metal strip are utilized.

Dual-band global positioning system antenna fed by the proximity-inset method

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2017
A method to excite dual band for a microstrip antenna on a two-layer substrate by combining the proximity feed and the inset feed in a simple way is presented. Both linearly polarised and circularly polarised (CP) dual-band waves can be excited.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Patch Loaded DRA for Broadband WLAN Applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2013
patch loaded dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is discussed here. The rectangular ring shaped slot coupling is used to excite the proposed antenna. In this paper, rectangular ring shaped slot coupled DRA and patch loaded DRA is studied and compared. The combined effect of patch radiator with rectangular ring shaped slot coupled DRA, on the return loss

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Low-SAR and High-FBR Patch Antenna With Small Ground Size for Wearable Devices

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation
A high front-to-back ratio (FBR) microstrip patch antenna with small ground plane size is proposed and studied in this article. In order to suppress the serious back lobe brought by such a small ground, a hybrid loading technique consisting of coupled ...
