Differential effects of dual and synergist-based insecticide-treated bed nets on pyrethroid resistance and L995F/S knockdown resistance mutation dynamics in Anopheles gambiae s.l. populations in south-western Burkina Faso

open access: yesParasites & Vectors
Background The introduction of next-generation insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) in Burkina Faso aims to mitigate pyrethroid resistance in malaria vectors.

VARIBILITY, CORRELATION AND PATH ANALYSIS OF YIELD AND FIBRE TRAITS IN UPLAND COTTON

open access: yesMadras Agricultural Journal, 1990
A study conducted with 55 genotypes of upland cotton (Gossyplum hirsutum L.) indicated that the genetic variability was high for boll number, boll weight, lint index and seed cotton yield.

Comparing the paths of Hedgehog release in artificial and natural settings

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hh morphogens require solubilization factors to overcome their tight association with the plasma membrane and signal to distant cells, but the precise functions of these factors are controversial. Here, we use published in vivo observations as the most relevant evidence to test their suggested functions and discuss contradictions and gaps between in ...

CHARACTER ASSOCIATION AND PATH ANALYSIS IN RAB] SORGHUM [SORGHUM BICOLOR (L.) MOENCHI

open access: yesMadras Agricultural Journal, 1990
Ten parents and 45 F, hybrids of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] were studied in rabi season for genotypic correlations and path analysis. Grain yield showed significant positive correlation with panicle breadth, plant height and 100-grain weight ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Studies on genetic variability and character association for yield and its attributes in greengram [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2020
An experiment was carried out to estimate the genetic parameters such as variability, heritability, genetic advance, character association and path analysis for twelve quantitative characters in 50 genotypes of green gram [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek ...

p190A/ARHGAP35 and p190B/ARHGAP5 proteins in endometrial cancer: a novel cancer‐relevant paralog interplay

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study identifies ARHGAP5, in addition to the frequently mutated ARHGAP35, as significantly mutated in endometrial cancer. Mutations in both genes co‐occur and are associated with their correlated downregulation. Functional CRISPR studies show that both paralogs regulate similar pathways, including actin cytoskeleton organization.

Path Constitution Analysis: A Methodology for Understanding Path Dependence and Path Creation [PDF]

open access: yesBusiness Research, 2012
AbstractAlthough an increasing number of studies of technological, institutional and organizational change refer to the concepts of path dependence and path creation, few attempts have been made to consider these concepts explicitly in their methodological accounts.
