Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

As a Chinese researcher in Belgium: Path dependence or path-breaking?
Extra-regional linkages contribute to innovation. However, detailed thoughts of innovators are missing in the literature. A question arises: how does a newly established extra-regional linkage affect knowledge production?

Compaction and dilation rate dependence of stresses in gas-fluidized beds
A particle dynamics-based hybrid model, consisting of monodisperse spherical solid particles and volume-averaged gas hydrodynamics, is used to study traveling planar waves (one-dimensional traveling waves) of voids formed in gas-fluidized beds of narrow ...

The proton spin decomposition : path dependence and gauge symmetry
We discuss the different types of decomposition of the proton spin. We stress that, despite their lack of uniqueness, the Chen et al. and Wakamatsu decompositions are perfectly measurable. We argue that a large part of the recent controversies boils down

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Path Dependence of the Quark Nonlocal Condensate within the Instanton Model [PDF]
Within the instanton liquid model, we study the dependence of the gauge invariant two--point quark correlator on the path used to perform the color parallel transport between two points in the Euclidean space.Comment: 4 pages, 5 ...

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...
