Model for the Path Loss of In-Room Reverberant Channels [PDF]
A general path loss model for in-room radio channels is proposed. The model is based on experimental observations of the behavior of the delay power spectrum in closed rooms. In a given closed room, the early part of the spectrum observed at different positions typically consists of a dominant component (peak) that vanishes as the transmitter-receiver ...

Path Loss Modeling for Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications [PDF]
Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications have received increasing attention lately, but there is a lack of reported results regarding important quantities such as path loss. This paper presents parameterized path loss models for V2V communications based on extensive sets of measurement data collected mainly under line-of-sight conditions in four ...

Path loss models based on stochastic rays [PDF]
In this paper, two-dimensional percolation lattices are applied to describe wireless propagation environment, and stochastic rays are employed to model the trajectories of radio waves. We first derive the probability that a stochastic ray undergoes certain number of collisions at a specific spatial location.

Analysis of Different Path Loss Propagation Models Based on 4G Walk Test Data [PDF]
The study of path loss propagation is of high importance in telecommunication, for optimizing the efficiency of wireless communication networks. In this paper, four path loss propagation models; free space path loss (FSPL) model, Okumura model, Okumura ...

Path loss modelling based on path profile in urban propagation environments [PDF]
Abstract This paper presents a path loss model based on path profile in urban propagation environments for 5G systems. Although deep learning approaches are indeed powerful in tasks involving prediction or classification, they often lack transparency and suffer from high computational complexity.

Modeling In vivo Wireless Path Loss
Our long-term research goal is to model the in vivo wireless channel. As a first step towards this goal, in this paper we performed in vivo path loss measurements at 2.4GHz and make a comparison with free space path loss. We calculate the path loss by using the electric field radiated by a Hertzian-Dipole located inside the abdominal cavity.

Although various linear log-distance path loss models have been developed for wireless sensor networks, advanced models are required to more accurately and flexibly represent the path loss for complex environments.

Path loss measurement and modeling of 5G network in emergency indoor stairwell at 3.7 and 28 GHz.
Research on path loss in indoor stairwells for 5G networks is currently insufficient. However, the study of path loss in indoor staircases is essential for managing network traffic quality under typical and emergency conditions and for localization ...
