ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by its poor prognosis. Cytology is essential for diagnostic confirmation and ancillary studies. The endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) set a precedent, facilitating cytological sampling through fine‐needle aspiration (FNA), with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 95%.

Abstract Objective Long‐term memory deficits are often seen in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). Recently, studies showed that patients with hippocampal sclerosis (HS) type 2, which presents with severe neuron loss in CA1 only, performed within the normal range. However, up to 30% of HS type 2 cases have memory deficits.

In children with presumptive tuberculosis, comprehensive point‐of‐care (cPOCUS) identified key thoracic abnormalities with high specificity and excellent inter‐reader reliability. Although diagnostic sensitivity was modest and examinations often incomplete, cPOCUS shows promise as a complementary, radiation‐free imaging tool.
