Demonstration of Pattern Division Multiple Access with Message Passing Algorithm in MMW-RoF Systems
Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) 2020, 2020Implementing PDMA with MPA, ambiguous symbol recovery and 4-dB sensitivity improvement was achieved compared to conventional PD-NOMA-SIC. Experimental results show that PDMA enhances application flexibility by pattern variants tailored for different scenarios including grant-free uplinks.

Pattern Division Multiple Access (PDMA)
2018Pattern division multiple access (PDMA) is a kind of non-orthogonal multiple access technology based on the principle of the introduced reasonable diversity between multi-user and joint design between transmitter and receiver to promote the capacity.

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) techniques are an effective tool for increasing the user capacity in 5G networks. In NOMA users occupy a same resource element in any given time, and user separation is achieved through different interference cancellation strategies.

INVESTIGATION OF NOISE IMMUNITY OF NON-ORTHOGONAL MULTIPLE ACCESS SYSTEMS WITH PATTERN DIVISION

Compressed Sensing Algorithm for Pattern Division Multiple Access (PDMA) in 5G Radio Networks
2018 International CET Conference on Control, Communication, and Computing (IC4), 2018In this paper, a 5G technique called Pattern Division Multiple Access (PDMA) using Compressed Sensing Algorithm is put forward for communication systems. A resource group is defined using PDMA patterns with reference to either time or frequency for data transmission. Users sharing the same resources are differentiated by utilizing those set of patterns,

Abstract A demand for high spectral efficiency requires multiple access within a single wavelength, but the uplink signals are significantly degraded because of optical beat interference (OBI) in intensity modulation/direct detection system. An optical pulse division multiplexing (OPDM) technique was proposed that could effectively reduce the OBI via

Families of codes that are applicable to optical synchronous spread-spectrum code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communication systems as well as to arbitrary synchronous time-hopping-based spread-spectrum CDMA systems are introduced. The construction of the proposed codes is based on number theoretic results on quadratic congruences, and on a subset ...
