Efficient Algorithms for Mining Erasable Closed Patterns From Product Datasets
Finding knowledge from large data sets to use in intelligent systems becomes more and more important in the Internet era. Pattern mining, classification, text mining, and opinion mining are the topical issues.

Efficient Mining of Interesting Patterns in Large Biological Sequences [PDF]
Pattern discovery in biological sequences (e.g., DNA sequences) is one of the most challenging tasks in computational biology and bioinformatics. So far, in most approaches, the number of occurrences is a major measure of determining whether a pattern is

A Survey of Key Technologies for High Utility Patterns Mining
Recently, high utility pattern mining (HUPM) is one of the most important research issues in data mining. Because it can consider the non-binary frequency values of items in a transaction and the different profit values of each item.

Abstract In a diffusion network, some nodes exhibit similar diffusion patterns as they have analogous influence reachabilities to the other nodes. When these nodes are selected as initially infected nodes, they tend to yield similar infection results.

High average-utility sequential pattern mining based on uncertain databases
emergence and proliferation of the internet of things (IoT) devices have resulted in the generation of big and uncertain data due to the varied accuracy and decay of sensors and their different sensitivity ranges.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

OWSP-Miner: Self-adaptive One-off Weak-gap Strong Pattern Mining
Gap constraint sequential pattern mining (SPM), as a kind of repetitive SPM, can avoid mining too many useless patterns. However, this method is difficult for users to set a suitable gap without prior knowledge and each character is considered to have ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Distances Between Formal Concept Analysis Structures [PDF]
In this paper, we study the notion of distance between the most important structures of formal concept analysis: formal contexts, concept lattices, and implication bases.
