Performance evaluation of Hindi speech recognition system using optimized filterbanks
An Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system implementation uses a conventional pattern recognition technique that stores a set of training patterns in classes and compares the test patterns with training patterns to place them in the best matched ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

HMM-based Offline Recognition of Handwritten Words Crossed Out with Different Kinds of Strokes [PDF]
In this work, we investigate the recognition of words that have been crossed-out by the writers and are thus degraded. The degradation consists of one or more ink strokes that span the whole word length and simulate the signs that writers use to cross ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

Mixed Bayesian Networks with Auxiliary Variables for Automatic Speech Recognition [PDF]
Standard hidden Markov models (HMMs), as used in automatic speech recognition (ASR), calculate their emission probabilities by an artificial neural network (ANN) or a Gaussian distribution conditioned on the hidden state variable, considering the ...

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

WORD BASED TAMIL SPEECH RECOGNITION USING TEMPORAL FEATURE BASED SEGMENTATION [PDF]
Speech recognition system requires segmentation of speech waveform into fundamental acoustic units. Segmentation is a process of decomposing the speech signal into smaller units.
