Emotional and Adrenocortical Responses of Infants to the Strange Situation: The Differential Function of Emotional Expression [PDF]
The aim of the study was to investigate biobehavioural organisation in infants with different qualities of attachment. Quality of attachment (security and disorganisation), emotional expression, and adrenocortical stress reactivity were investigated in a

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

A narrative on the neurobiological roots of attachment-system functioning
Attachment theory is one of the most comprehensive frameworks in social and developmental psychology. It describes how selective, enduring emotional bonds between infants and their caregivers are formed and maintained throughout life.

The Development and Long-Term Influences of Attachments As Seen Through Attachment Theory: The Influence of Attachment on Homosexual Males [PDF]
This paper seeks to explore the development of attachments in humans as seen through Bowlby\u27s (1980) attachment theory. Components of the theory which focus on how attachments are formed and how they influence future behavior are explored.

Voronoi Cell Patterns: theoretical model and applications
We use a simple fragmentation model to describe the statistical behavior of the Voronoi cell patterns generated by a set of points in 1D and in 2D. In particular, we are interested in the distribution of sizes of these Voronoi cells.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
