Chemical equilibration in Pb+Pb collisions at the SPS [PDF]
An improved statistical model with excluded volume corrections and resonance decays is introduced and applied to the complete presently available set of particle ratios as measured by the various experiments at the SPS in Pb+Pb collisions. The results imply that a high degree of hadrochemical equilibration is reached at chemical freeze-out in Pb+Pb ...

Bottomonium transport in p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC
We employ the Boltzmann transport model to study the sequential suppression pattern of $Υ(1S,2S,3S)$ states in both small (p-Pb) and the large (Pb-Pb) collision systems at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=5.02$ TeV. The cold nuclear matter effects happen before the formation of bottomonium, which is the same for different bottomonium states $Υ(1S,2S,3S)$. The sequential

Response to comment of Albarède and colleagues
Our purpose is to better understand the actions and behaviours of people in the past, often with a focus on ancient economies, and we are willing to use tools from any discipline that allow us to explore these issues.

The graphical presentation of lead isotope data for environmental source apportionment [PDF]
Lead isotope ratios are widely used to identify original sources of Pb in the environment. Such source apportionment depends on the ability to distinguish potential sources on the basis of their isotopic composition. However, almost all terrestrial Pb is

Strangeness in PbPb collisions at 158 A GeV [PDF]
We study relative strange particle abundances measured in Pb-Pb 158 A GeV interactions. The thermal and chemical source parameters of these particles are determined under reaction scenario hypothesis invoking confined and deconfined hadronic matter.

The statistical model in Pb–Pb collisions at the LHC [PDF]
We briefly review the predictions of the thermal model for hadron production in comparison to latest data from RHIC and extrapolate the calculations to LHC energy. Our main emphasis is to confront the model predictions with the recently released data from ALICE at the LHC.

Dielectron measurements in pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC [PDF]
Electromagnetic probes are excellent messengers from the hot and dense medium created in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Since leptons do not interact strongly, their spectra reflect the entire space-time evolution of the collision. The surrounding medium can lead to modifications of the dielectron production with respect to the vacuum rate.
