Adsorption behavior and mechanism of Mg/Fe layered double hydroxide with Fe3O4-carbon spheres on the removal of Pb(II) and Cu(II).

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2019
Mg/Fe layered double hydroxide loaded with Magnetic(Fe3O4) carbon spheres (MCs@Mg/Fe-LDHs) was firstly synthesized by a facile in-situ co-precipitation method to remove Pb(II) and Cu(II) pollution.

Hyperfine-structure measurements on trapped Pb ii

Physical Review A, 1992
The 6${\mathit{P}}_{3/2}$-6${\mathit{P}}_{1/2}$ magnetic dipole resonance transition in ${\mathrm{Pb}}^{+}$ has been observed by cw laser excitation of an ion cloud stored in a Paul trap and subsequent detection of the fluorescence radiation. From the hyperfine-structure splitting of the spectrum we determine the A factor for the ground state, A ...

Methylation of Sn°, Pb° and Sn(II), Pb(II) inorganic salts by carbonium ion donors

Toxicological & Environmental Chemistry, 1993
Methylation experiments of Sn°, Pb° and inorganic salts of Sn(II), Pb(II) by carbonium ion (CH3 +) donors have been carried out in laboratory conditions simulating the natural environment. Lead methylation was observed only in the case of using (CH3)3Sn+I− as methyl‐donor, whereas Sn(IV) methylation could not be detected.

Distribution of Pb(II) species in aqueous solutions

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2003
Turbidity and zeta potential measurements were made on solid precipitates formed after raising the pH of a 10(-3) mol/l lead nitrate aqueous solutions containing 10(-2) mol/l KCl with KOH. Distribution diagrams of Pb(II) species in aqueous solutions at a total Pb(II) concentration of 10(-3) mol/l and 10(-2) mol/l KCl was constructed to explain the ...

Mechanism of Pb(II) Biosorption by Saccharomyces Cerevisiae

2009 International Conference on Environmental Science and Information Application Technology, 2009
The mechanism of Pb (II) biosorption by Saccharmyces Cerevisiae is investigated by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive x-ray (SEM-EDX) sepectroscopy, fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).The SEM figures show that the shapes of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae cells doesn’t obviously change after ...

Spectroscopic and Thermogravimetric Characterization of Pb(II) Dinonyldithiophosphate: Removal of Pb(II) from Aqueous Solution

Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 2015
Dinonyldithiophosphoric acid (DNDTPA) was prepared by adding phosphorus pentasulfide to nonyl alcohol. The lead dinonyl dithiophosphate complex Pb(DNDTP) 2 was prepared by mixing a solution of lead(II) with a solution of DNDTPA in ethanol at room temperature. The recovered Pb(DNDTP)

Dual hydrolytic role for Pb(II) ions

Biochimie, 1994
RNA phosphodiester bonds can be cleaved by metal ions, of which Pb2+ is one of the most effective. It can cleave both generally and site-specifically, depending on the substrate and the conditions. In addition, metal ions are also known to cleave ester bonds between amino acid and the 3'-end of transfer RNA.

Study of Pb(II) in various H2O-H2SO4 mixtures by differential pulse polarography: solubility of lead sulphate, diffusion coefficient of Pb(II) and half-wave potential of Pb(Hg)/Pb(II)

Electrochimica Acta, 1982
Abstract A study of some properties of Pb(II) in solutions of sulphuric acid was carried out by means of differential pulse polarography. The range of concentrations of acid extended from 0.6 to 70 weight % of H 2 SO 4 (0.06-11.5 M). Determination of the solubility of lead sulphate was found to be in good agreement with NBS's results in the range of
