Malignant Cells Beyond the Tumor Core: The Non-Negligible Factor to Overcome the Refractory of Glioblastoma. [PDF]

open access: yesCNS Neurosci Ther
Located beyond the tumor core, questiona cells (Q cells) exhibit high invasiveness, metabolic adaptations, and drug resistance, driving tumor recurrence despite aggressive treatment. Their physical properties, such as low solid stress and soft tissue stiffness, further enhance their migratory and invasive capabilities. Advanced imaging techniques (e.g.,

A Multicenter, Retrospective Analysis of Long-Term Survival in 255 Dogs With Pheochromocytoma Treated With Alpha-Adrenoreceptor Antagonists or Surgery (2010-2021). [PDF]

open access: yesJ Vet Intern Med
ABSTRACT Background The survival of dogs with pheochromocytoma (PCC) treated with adrenoreceptor antagonists has not been described or compared to surgically managed cases. Hypothesis/Objectives The objective of this study is to evaluate the survival of medically and surgically managed dogs with PCC and investigate factors associated with survival ...

Turning attention to tumor–host interface and focus on the peritumoral heterogeneity of glioblastoma [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications
Approximately 90% of glioblastoma recurrences occur in the peritumoral brain zone (PBZ), while the spatial heterogeneity of the PBZ is not well studied.

On Some Properties of PBZ*-Lattices [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Theoretical Physics, 2017
We continue the algebraic investigation of PBZ*-lattices, a notion introduced in [12] in order to obtain insights into the structure of certain algebras of effects of a Hilbert space, lattice-ordered under the spectral ordering.

On PBZ$$^{*}$$–Lattices

open access: yes, 2021
We continue our investigation of paraorthomodular BZ*-lattices (PBZ*-lattices), started in \cite{GLP1+,PBZ2,rgcmfp,pbzsums,pbz5}. We shed further light on the structure of the subvariety lattice of the variety $\mathbb{PBZL}^{\ast }$ of PBZ*-lattices; in particular, we provide axiomatic bases for some of its members.
