On Some Properties of PBZ*-Lattices [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Theoretical Physics, 2017
We continue the algebraic investigation of PBZ*-lattices, a notion introduced in [12] in order to obtain insights into the structure of certain algebras of effects of a Hilbert space, lattice-ordered under the spectral ordering.

Insight of PBZ mediated drought amelioration in crop plants

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2022
Water scarcity is a significant environmental limitation to plant productivity as drought-induced crop output losses are likely to outnumber losses from all other factors. In this context, triazole compounds have recently been discovered to act as plant growth regulators and multi-stress protectants such as heat, chilling, drought, waterlogging, heavy ...

On PBZ$$^{*}$$–Lattices

open access: yesLogic, Epistemology, and the Unity of Science, 2021
We continue our investigation of paraorthomodular BZ*-lattices (PBZ*-lattices), started in \cite{GLP1+,PBZ2,rgcmfp,pbzsums,pbz5}. We shed further light on the structure of the subvariety lattice of the variety $\mathbb{PBZL}^{\ast }$ of PBZ*-lattices; in particular, we provide axiomatic bases for some of its members.

The Thermo-Mechanical and Dielectric Properties of Superhydrophobic Pbz/TiO2 Composites

open access: yesSustainability, 2022
Polymer composites display the synergistic property of the polymer (matrix) and inorganic particles (filler material), when their combination is properly utilized. In the present work, polymer composites possessing a superhydrophobic property are fabricated by imposing the combination of both surface free energy and surface roughness.

Concentration of phenylbutazone (PBZ) and 13, 14-dihydro-15 keto PGF2α (PGFM) in blood and seminal plasma of stallions treated with PBZ

open access: yesTheriogenology, 1986
Three stallions, 3 to 5 yr old and approximately 550 kg bodyweight, were used in a switchback experimental design to study the effect of daily, oral administration of 3g PBZ on the concentrations of PBZ and PGFM in blood (plasma) and seminal plasma (SP). Control and treatment periods were each 24 days' duration.

Turning attention to tumor–host interface and focus on the peritumoral heterogeneity of glioblastoma [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications
Approximately 90% of glioblastoma recurrences occur in the peritumoral brain zone (PBZ), while the spatial heterogeneity of the PBZ is not well studied.

PBZ*-Lattices: Structure Theory and Subvarieties [PDF]

open access: yesReports on Mathematical Logic, 2020
We investigate the structure theory of the variety of PBZ*-lattices and some of its proper subvarieties. These lattices with additional structure originate in the foundations of quantum mechanics and can be viewed as a common generalisation of orthomodular lattices and Kleene algebras expanded by an extra unary operation.
