W-exchange and W-annihilation processes of B mesons
Using the PQCD method we calculate the W-exchange and the W-annihilation processes of B mesons, which in general involve a charm quark or anti-quark in the final state. The nonvanishing amplitudes of these processes are found to be suppressed by a factor

Pan‐European Fragile Populations Cohort for COVID‐19: What Worked, What Didn't, and Lessons Learned
ABSTRACT The COVID‐19 pandemic exposed the vulnerability of immunocompromised hosts and the scarcity of evidence guiding their management. Within the European Horizon 2020 ORCHESTRA project, a multinational consortium connected existing and new cohorts to harmonize data, laboratory methods, and clinical expertise across fragile populations. The fragile

Effect of plant growth regulators in the rooting of Pinus cuttings
This work evaluated the rooting of Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis Morelet cuttings under the action of different levels of plant growth regulators. The cuttings consisted of 4-6 cm long shoots of P. caribaea var.

3D porous carbons with tunable density are crucial for energy storage, separations, and load‐bearing applications; however, their fabrication is often constrained by shrinkage during pyrolysis. This study optimizes and demonstrates the versatility of a template–coating pair strategy, producing materials that largely retain their shape and hierarchical ...

Paclobutrazol as a plant growth regulator
Plant growth regulators are chemical substances which govern all the factors of development and growth within plants. The application of plant growth regulators to crops modifies hormonal balance and growth leading to increased yield, enhanced crop ...

Fast‐Locking Frequency‐Hopping PLL Using Dual‐Edge Low‐Duty‐Cycle PFD With Cycle Slip Suppression
The performance of conventional phase–frequency detectors (PFDs) is critically limited by dead‐zone and blind‐zone artifacts, which stem from the timing constraints of D flip‐flop (DFF) based architectures. These non‐idealities degrade phase‐detection resolution, induce cycle slip, and prolong the lock time of phase‐locked loops (PLLs).

Summary This review discusses the use of agronomic management practices to enhance crop stress resilience to climate stress through the modulation of natural plant growth regulatory pathways. The use of biostimulants or plant hormones to improve crop resilience is subject to strict regulatory oversight if changes in the regulation of plant growth are ...
