Highly Stable Free‐standing Cobalt Niobate with Orthorhombic Structure as Anode Material for Li‐ion Batteries

Niobate‐based compounds have attracted significant attention as Li‐ion battery anode material. A simple and scalable synthesis method for CoNb2O6 powder was realized in this study via a mechanochemical technique for the first time, involving ball milling, pelletizing, and heat treatment.
