What Do We Know About Scope 3 Emissions in Small‐ and Medium‐Sized Enterprises? Mapping Current Knowledge and Advancing a Theory–Practice‐Oriented Framework

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although SMEs comprise over 90% of firms globally, research on their engagement with Scope 3 (value‐chain) greenhouse gas emissions remains limited. This PRISMA‐guided systematic review synthesises 49 SME‐relevant studies to develop a theory‐informed, practice‐oriented framework for more credible and sustained Scope 3 engagement.

Classroom boundaries and teacher agency: Challenges of implementing Ireland's new primary curriculum

open access: yesThe Curriculum Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This article reports on a doctoral study examining teacher agency in one Irish primary school at a timely moment ahead of the implementation of the new Primary Curriculum Framework in September 2025. The framework embeds teacher agency as a central professional principle, yet findings from this study reveal a more cautious and bounded reality.

A Simple Adequate Categorical Model for PCF [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Usually types of PCF are interpreted as cpos and terms as continuous functions. It is then the case that non-termination of a closed term of ground type corresponds to the interpretation being bottom; we say that the semantics is adequate.

Intensity-Modulated PM-PCF Sagnac Loop in a DWDM Setup for Strain Measurement

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
A novel intensity-modulated Sagnac loop sensor based on polarization-maintaining photonic crystal fiber (PM-PCF) in a setup with a dense wavelength division multiplexer (DWDM) for strain measurement is presented. The sensor head is made of PM-PCF spliced
