Water-responsive shape memory PLLA via incorporating PCL-(PMVS-s-PAA)-PCL-PTMG-PCL-(PMVS-s-PAA)-PCL
European Polymer Journal, 2021Abstract Poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) was one of the most well-known biodegradable polyesters. Although its thermo-responsive shape memory (SM) function has been studied by proper program, high transformation temperature is not suitable in some biomedical applications.

The Journal of Knee Surgery, 2021
AbstractMany different techniques with multiple graft types have been described for the reconstruction of the injured posterior cruciate ligament (PCL); autograft versus allograft, single- versus double-bundle, open inlay versus arthroscopic inlay versus arthroscopic transtibial, and recently described the arthroscopic “all-inside” socket technique ...

Abstract The demand for artificial vascular grafts in clinical applications is increasing, and it is urgent to design a tissue-engineered vascular graft with good biocompatibility and sufficient mechanical strength. In this study, three-layer small diameter artificial vascular grafts were constructed by electrospinning. Polycaprolactone (

Supercritical processing of PCL and PCL-PEG blends to produce improved PCL-based porous scaffolds
The Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2022Polycaprolactone (PCL)-based aerogels were prepared by supercritical CO2 drying, with the aim of realizing scaffolds with an open and interconnected structure. PCL only based scaffolds showed a macroporous, irregular section and closed surfaces. Therefore, polyethylene glycol (PEG) was added as a plasticizer, to improve scaffolds morphology.

Allografts in PCL Reconstructions
2013Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injuries are often associated with other ligament lesions. Multiligament reconstructions require an important quantity of grafts and often determine the need for cadaver allografts during the surgical repair procedures.

Miscibility of TPU(PCL diol)/PCL Blend and Its Effect on PCL Crystallinity
Macromolecular Symposia, 2007AbstractPoly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) was melt blended with thermoplastic polyurethane based on polycaprolactone diol (TPU(PCL diol)). The amount of PCL was varied from 20% to 50% by weight. A single composition dependent glass transition temperature (from DSC) shows the miscibility of system. Also the negative value of polymer‐polymer interaction density,

AbstractIn this article, we demonstrated a novel injectable polymer matrix: honokiol (HK) loaded poly (ϵ‐caprolactone)‐poly(ethylene glycol)‐poly(ϵ‐caprolactone) (PCL‐PEG‐PCL, PCEC) nanoparticles in thermosensitive poly(ethylene glycol)‐poly(ϵ‐caprolactone)‐poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG‐PCL‐PEG, PECE) hydrogel for the drug local delivery.
