Veterinary Record, 2008
SIR, — To date, at least three different phylogenetic groups of porcine circo-virus type 2 (pcv-2) have been recognised ([Gagnon and others 2007][1], [Dupont and others 2008][2], [Grau-Roma and others 2008][3], [Timmusk and others 2008][4]).

PCV — Problems, Cures, Variables

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1964
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) is now standard equipment on all new automobiles. This paper presents data on the influence of oil quality and drain frequency on the maintenance requirements of these devices. The result of system malfunction on engine deposit formation in the field is also discussed.

Druckkontrollierte Beatmung (PCV/A-PCV)

2017

Secondary polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV)

Acta Ophthalmologica, 2014
AbstractPolypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) was first described as polypoidal, subretinal, vascular lesions associated with serous and hemorrhagic detachments of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) in a series of patients (10/11 were women) by Yannuzzi. PCV is most commonly diagnosed in patients between the ages of 50 and 65 years.

Spinal cord astrocytoma: Response to PCV chemotherapy

Neurology, 2000
Information regarding the value of chemotherapy for spinal cord astrocytomas that progress after irradiation is limited. We describe a patient whose conus medullaris astrocytoma responded to PCV (procarbazine, lomustine, and vincristine) chemotherapy after failing radiation and cisplatin-based chemotherapy.

PCV Chemotherapy for Recurrent Oligodendrogliomas and Oligoastrocytomas

Neurosurgery, 1998
The role of chemotherapy in the treatment of low-grade oligodendrogliomas and oligoastrocytomas is still unclear. A Phase II study was conducted to determine the benefits and toxicity of the procarbazine, lomustine, and vincristine (PCV) regimen in patients with low-grade oligodendrogliomas and oligoastrocytomas recurrent after surgery alone or surgery

Salvage PCV chemotherapy for temozolomide-resistant oligodendrogliomas

Neurology, 2004
The authors investigated the results of PCV chemotherapy within a cohort of 24 patients treated within the EORTC study 26971 on temozolomide chemotherapy in recurrent oligodendroglioma. The genotype of the tumors was assessed with fluorescent in situ hybridization with locus specific probes for the region 1p36.

Benefits of PCV‐2 vaccination in pigs

Veterinary Record, 2015
ANIMAL health remains under constant threat from exotic and emerging diseases. In Northern Europe, the emergence of Schmallenberg virus (SBV) in 2011 provided a particularly dramatic example of this (Beer and others 2013), but there are many other diseases to consider.
