On Nonlocal Normal Forms of Linear Second Order Mixed Type PDEs on the Plane
Lecture Notes in Economics and Mathematical Systems, 2018Here we propose the nonlocal normal form of main symbol of linear second order mixed type PDEs on the plane for Cibrario-Tricomi case with periodic coefficients. In particular that provides the normal form for equation, which describes an infinitesimal bending of typical rotation surface or sufficiently close to the one near its parabolic line.

DGFEMs for Second-Order PDEs of Mixed-Type
2017This chapter is devoted to studying the stability and convergence properties of the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method (DGFEM) for the numerical approximation of a general class of second-order partial differential equations (PDEs) with nonnegative characteristic form.

An explicit solution of the initlal-boundary vdue problem for the evolutionary PDE of composite type is obtaied outmde a cut In the plant. The Dmc hlet bounday condition is specified on one side of the cut and the oblique derivative Louridary cuuditim containing derivatives in time is given on another aide of the cut.
