Coordinated peak regulation control strategy of BESS and thermal power units in high proportion new energy power system

Information Security Practice and Experience, 2020
With the rapid development of new energy in recent years, its proportion in the power grid is increasing. The impact of its randomness, intermittence and negative peak regulation characteristics on the power grid is more and more significant.

Peak Regulation Market Design for End-users in the Presence of Load Aggregators

Information Security Practice and Experience, 2020
The rapid development of renewable energy industry in China has brought great demand for peak-regulation resources. As the flexibility of traditional thermal power plants are gradually exhausted, end-users with controllable devices, can be regarded as a ...

Regulation and Diverse Technology in the Peak Load Problem

Southern Economic Journal, 1981
The effects of rate-of-return regulation under a diverse technology are still largely unexplored. Except for the work of Anthony M. Marino, the literature on peak-load pricing and regulation has not been concerned with this issue. The purpose of this note is to look further into this problem.

Single-peak-regulation and wide-angle dual-band metamaterial absorber based on hollow-cross and solid-cross resonators

, 2020
A dual-band microwave metamaterial absorber with single-peak regulation and wide-angle absorption has been proposed and illustrated. The designed metamaterial absorber is consisted of hollow-cross resonators, solid-cross resonators, dielectric substrate ...

A jurisdictional comparison of the twin peaks model of financial regulation

Journal of Banking Regulation, 2016
The last two decades have seen an increasing number of jurisdictions adopting the ‘twin peaks’ model of financial regulation. Since it was pioneered in Australia, the model has been adopted by the Netherlands, Belgium, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

A 5-MHz 91% Peak-Power-Efficiency Buck Regulator With Auto-Selectable Peak- and Valley-Current Control

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2011
This paper presents a multi-MHz buck regulator for portable applications using an auto-selectable peak- and valley-current control (ASPVCC) scheme. The proposed ASPVCC scheme can enable the current-mode buck regulator to reduce the settling-time requirement of the current sensing by two times.

A 5-MHz 91% peak-power-efficiency buck regulator with auto-selectable peak- and valley-current control

IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference 2010, 2010
This paper presents a multi-MHz buck regulator for portable applications using an auto-selectable peak- and valley-current control (ASPVCC) scheme. The proposed ASPVCC scheme and the dynamically-biased shunt feedback in the current sensors relax the settling-time requirement of the current sensing and improve the sensing speed.

Peak rate regulation scheme for ATM networks and its performance

IEEE INFOCOM '93 The Conference on Computer Communications, Proceedings, 2002
Using the rate control to restrict the peak cell rate of traffic is addressed. The asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) environment is considered as a discrete-time environment in which one slot is equal to one cell transmission time. A rate control that can restrict the number of cells during any fixed-length time interval in a discrete-time environment ...

Peak-load regulation of power system based on multiple constraints

2011 International Conference on Electrical and Control Engineering, 2011
Utilizing the power maximization model of short-term peak-load regulation, this paper analyzes the hydro-thermal joint peak-load regulation of power system based on multiple constraints such as the ramp-rate of thermal power units and water inflow of hydropower system.
