CD4+ Tregs Drive Post‐Ischemic Sprouting Angiogenesis via Endothelial YY1/MAML1 Reactivation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Microvascular complications of diabetes are chronic diseases of small vessels. We previously found that CD4+ regulatory T‐cells (Tregs) are markedly reduced in type 2 diabetes (T2D) after ischemic injury in both mice and humans, and that Treg deficiency in immunodeficient mice impairs vascular regeneration.

Polymer Matrix‐Based 3D Culture Significantly Enhances the Differentiation and Immunomodulatory Functions of Human Adipose‐Derived Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The 3D culture of human adipose‐derived stem cells (hADSCs) on a crosslinked cyclosiloxane‐based poly‐Z matrix platform enables the formation of spheroid structures enriched with extracellular matrix (ECM). These ECM‐enriched hADSC spheroids cultured on poly‐Z exhibit enhanced differentiation potential, immunomodulatory capacity, and in vivo ...

Fluctations and noise in time-resolved light scattering experiments : measuring temporally heterogeneous dynamics

open access: yes, 2004
We use Time Resolved Correlation (TRC), a recently introduced light scattering method, to study the dynamics of a variety of jammed, or glassy, soft materials.

Gaming on Coincident Peak Shaving: Equilibrium and Strategic Behavior

open access: yesCoRR
Power system operators and electric utility companies often impose a coincident peak demand charge on customers when the aggregate system demand reaches its maximum. This charge incentivizes customers to strategically shift their peak usage away from the system's collective peak, which helps reduce stress on electricity infrastructure.

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Study on Peak Shaving Characteristics of Nuclear Power Unit Based on Molten Salt Heat Storage

open access: yes发电技术
ObjectivesNuclear power units have great potential for peak-shaving. However, the peak-valley fluctuations in terminal load and the characteristics of nuclear reactors to maintain stable output seriously affect the safe and efficient operation of nuclear

Nigra‐Subthalamic Dopaminergic Circuitry Modulates and Represents Distinct Pain Modality in Physiological and Pain States in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nigral dopaminergic (DA) neurons modulate and represent pain with a preference to a particular modality (mechanical) and laterality (contralateral), which are controlled by nigral GABAergic neurons. The pain modulation is mimicked by the nigro‐subthalamic projection and its downstream neurons, involving D2‐like receptors.
