Art v 1 and Amb a 4 Co‐Sensitization Identifies Italian Patients at Risk for Mugwort‐Celery‐Spice Syndrome

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Three molecular profiles identified among Art v 1/Amb a 4‐sensitized patients: Art v 1 monosensitization, Amb a 4 monosensitization, and dual sensitization to both allergens. Art v 1 monosensitization was predominantly associated with allergic rhinitis, reflecting a classical airborne allergy pattern.

Organogenesis and plant regeneration of Arachis villosa Benth. (Leguminosae) through leaf culture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
With the aim of developing an efficient plant regeneration protocol, leaflet explants of three accessions of Arachis villosa Benth. (S2866, S2867 and L97) were cultured on basic Murashige and Skoog medium supplemented with different combinations of plant

Development and Evaluation of a High Density Genotyping ‘Axiom_Arachis’ Array with 58 K SNPs for Accelerating Genetics and Breeding in Groundnut [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the most abundant DNA sequence variation in the genomes which can be used to associate genotypic variation to the phenotype.

Autoclaved Peanuts Exhibit Reduced Immunoglobulin E Binding and Improved Oral Tolerability

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study evaluates the effects of heat and pressure autoclaving on peanut proteins, IgE binding, and oral tolerability. Heat and pressure autoclaving breaks down peanut proteins and allergens, contributing to reduced peanut‐specific IgE binding. Autoclaved peanuts are associated with decreased skin test reactivity and greater oral tolerability in ...

Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of AP2/ERF Transcription Factor Related to Drought Stress in Cultivated Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2021
APETALA2/ethylene response element-binding factor (AP2/ERF) transcription factors (TFs) have been found to regulate plant growth and development and response to various abiotic stresses.

Genomic affinity in hybrids of B-genome Arachis species: new genetic resources toward peanut improvement

open access: yesCrop Breeding and Applied Biotechnology, 2021
Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important oilseed crop and food legume that is highly susceptible to biotic and abiotic factors. Wild Arachis species represent useful genetic resources because of their resistance to pests and diseases.

Mitogenome and Nuclear-encoded Fungicide-target Genes of Thecaphora frezii - Causal Agent of Peanut Smut [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Background: Thecaphora frezii Carranza and Lindquist causes smut disease in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) resulting in up to 35% yield losses. Fungicides have shown ineffective in controlling the disease; whereas research on the molecular basis of that ...

Genome-wide identification of circular RNAs in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Genomics, 2019
Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a class of widely expressed endogenous regulatory RNAs, are involved in diverse physiological and developmental processes in eukaryotic cells. However, there have been no related studies on the number of circRNAs and their overall characteristics including circRNA abundance and expression profiles in peanut, which is one of ...

Pig Seminal Plasma Extracellular Vesicles Enhance Motility During Preservation of Epididymal Spermatozoa but Impair Capacitation and IVF Parameters

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Extracellular vesicles (EVs) produced by accessory sex glands play a key role in sperm functionality, influencing motility, viability, acrosome integrity, metabolic activity, and capacitation. Most studies on the effects of EVs on spermatozoa have focused on ejaculated spermatozoa, which have already been exposed to their own native

Effect of Co-Inoculation of Bradyrhizobium and Trichoderma on Growth, Development, and Yield of Arachis hypogaea L. (Peanut)

open access: yesAgronomy, 2020
Cultivation of the peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) on the same land contributes to the accumulation of root exudates, leading to increased soil pathogens and decreased yield.
