Targeting Lactate‐Driven Stromal Autophagy via MCT1 Disrupts the Immunosuppressive Niche and Sensitizes Pancreatic Cancer to PD‐1 Blockade

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor‐derived lactate activates PSCs through MCT1‐mediated Vps34 lactylation and autophagy. These activated PSCs secrete CXCL9/10, upregulating PD‐1 on CD8+ T cells via the CXCR3/STAT3 axis to foster immunosuppression. Disrupting this metabolic crosstalk by targeting MCT1 effectively sensitizes pancreatic cancer to PD‐1 blockade, presenting a promising

Breaking the Trade‐Off of Mechanical Robustness and Energy Storage Capacity in Phase Change Materials Through a Molecular Design Strategy of Hard‐Segment‐Anchored/Side‐Chain‐Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To decouple mechanical robustness and energy storage capacity in phase change materials (PCMs), a series of polyurethane‐based PCMs bearing crystallizable alkyl side chains are synthesized via a hard‐segment‐anchored/side‐chain‐storage molecular design.

Effects of Selenium on DNA Methylation and Genomic Instability Induced by Drought Stress in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

open access: yesTürkiye Tarımsal Araştırmalar Dergisi
The main purpose of the study was to clarify the effect of selenium (Se) on DNA damage and DNA methylation in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) plants exposed to polyethylene glycol (PEG)-induced drought stress under in vitro tissue culture.

Formulation and Optimization of Monolithic Fixed-Dose Combination of Metformin HCl and Glibenclamide Orodispersible Tablets

open access: yesAdvances in Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2020
The treatment of type II DM involves the use of combination of drugs, especially at the chronic stage. However, the pill burden of this combination therapy combined with swallowing difficulties, occurring at a later stage of DM, has been the major ...

Targeted Delivery of Indole‐3‐Pyruvic Acid Suppresses Macrophage Ferroptosis to Enhance CD8+ T Cell‐Mediated Immunotherapy Response in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A microbiota‐derived metabolite, indole‐3‐pyruvic acid, suppresses macrophage ferroptosis through the AHR–NF‐κB–SLC7A11 axis. This preserves CD8+ T cell function in bladder cancer. Macrophage‐targeted nanoparticles enhance indole‐3‐pyruvic acid delivery and overcome resistance to PD‐1 blockade.

Effects of drought stress on seed germination, growth and physiological traits of dwarf wheats at seedling and maturity stage

open access: yesNotulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca
Water deficiency is a major constraint in wheat productivity in arid and semi-arid areas. Height-reducing genes, such as Rht decrease plant height while enhancing yield. However, their benefits in arid environments are poorly understood. We evaluate the

Multi‐Stimuli Responsive Magneto‐Coacervate Droplets for Selective Molecular Enrichment and Programmable Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Coacervate droplets formed via liquid–liquid phase separation offer unique opportunities as microreactors and delivery vehicles due to their ability to selectively concentrate biomolecules and support biochemical reactions. However, their passive nature severely restricts precise spatial and temporal control, posing barriers to practical ...

Drought Stress Tolerance in Wheat Using PEG 6000

open access: yes
This research evaluated the ability of five wheat types—K-9107, HD 2954, Raj-4125, HUW234, and NW-2036—to withstand limited water availability using a lab-based setup with PEG-6000 to mimic dry conditions at an osmotic level of -1.0 bars. As Triticum aestivum plays a key role in India's diet by supplying more than half of the population's energy and ...

Formulation of fenofibrate capsules by dropping method using PEG 6000 and PEG 4000 to enhance solubility

open access: yesWorld Journal of Biology Pharmacy and Health Sciences
The primary aim of the study was to enhance the dissolution rate of fenofibrate, a poorly soluble drug classified under BCS class II. To achieve this, solid dispersions were formulated using the dropping method with polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4000 and PEG 6000 at ratios of 1:1 and 1:2.
