arXiv, 2020 The possibility of using Shattered Pellet Injection(s) after the Thermal Quench phase of an ITER disruption in order to deplete Runaway Electron (RE) seeds before they can substantially avalanche is studied. Analytical and numerical estimates of the required injection rate for shards to penetrate into the forming RE beam and stop REs are given.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.A high‐throughput screen was used to identify inhibitors of Salmonella FraB, a drug target. Characterization of top hits (identified after an additional counter screen) revealed that some triazolidines, thiadiazolidines, and triazolothiadiazoles are mixed‐type inhibitors of FraB.
