We demonstrate how improved electrochemical performance during water electrolysis is achieved when a porous transport electrode (PTE) is coupled with a traditional catalyst coated membrane (CCM). Using operando neutron radiography, a more homogenous water distribution near the catalyst layer‐membrane interface is revealed in PTE‐based designs due to ...

Analysis of PEM electrolyzers [PDF]
Hydrogen and oxygen can be produced using a PEM electrolyzer. A PEM electrolyzer operates like a fuel cell in reverse. On the anode side of the electrolyzer, electrons are removed from water to form protons and oxygen molecules. The protons are then transported across the membrane. The protons then rejoin with electrons to form hydrogen molecules.

Nonlinear Model Predictive Control applied to Transient Operation of a Gas Turbine
This work aims to investigate the application of a comprehensive nonlinear model-based predictive control strategy as a means to avoid unsafe or inappropriate operation of a gas turbine. Herein, the nonlinear model-based predictive control is employed to

Abstract Phylogenetic comparative methods have been used in recent literature to work with laws and test for regularities (evolutionary associations of quantitative features) and evolutionary singularities (features that evolved in a single taxon). We analyzed these uses epistemologically, taking the evolution of red‐blood‐cell mean corpuscular volume (

Biogas in PEM-Brennstoffzellen

Green Hydrogen for Public Transportation: Insights From an ABM and From Palma de Mallorca Case Study
ABSTRACT The development of green hydrogen (GH2) value chains is crucial for decarbonizing sectors such as transport and industry. Their emergence, however, requires coordination among diverse actors, technologies, and regulations, which traditional analytical approaches struggle to capture.
