Morphotoxicity and cytogenotoxicity of pendimethalin in the test plant Allium cepa L. - A biomarker based study.

Chemosphere, 2018
Pesticides have brought tremendous benefits to mankind by increasing food production and controlling various crop diseases. But their prolonged and extensive use has been reported to induce toxicity.

HERBIGATION IN A CHERRY ORCHARD – EFFICIENCY OF PENDIMETHALIN

Acta Horticulturae, 2009
The efficiency of the soil systemic selective herbicide pendimethalin (Stomp 33 EC) was studied when applied in a cherry orchard through the microirrigation system. The investigation was carried out in 2005-2007 on Fluvisol with the following variants: 1) application through a system for undertree microsprinkling (MS); 2) application through a drip ...

Field Dissipation of Sulfentrazone and Pendimethalin in Colorado

Weed Technology, 2012
Pendimethalin and sulfentrazone are applied PRE in sunflower to control many grasses and broadleaf weeds. These herbicides have quite different physicochemical properties. Pendimethalin has a high carbon-referenced sediment partition coefficient (Koc)(17,200 L kg−1), with a low leaching potential, whereas sulfentrazone has a low Koc(43 L kg−1), with a ...

[Ecological effect of pendimethalin on soil microbe].

Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2002
The effect of pendimethalin, a herbicide, on microbial activity in soil was studied here. The results showed that the amount of emission CO2 from three treatment of 1, 5 and 10 micrograms.g-1 of pendimethalin had no significant differences from the CK.

Dissipation of Pendimethalin in Soybean Crop Under Field Conditions

Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, 2016
Persistence of pendimethalin was studied in soil, soybean pods, straw and water under field conditions. Pendimethalin was applied at 1 and 2 kg a.i. ha(-1). Residues in soil were detected up to 60 and 90 days at the recommended and double dose, respectively. Dissipation followed first order kinetics and was accounted for by a biphasic pattern. The half-
