Droplet Squeeze Microfluidic Platform for Generating Extracellular Vesicle Hybrids for Drug Delivery
A microfluidic droplet squeezing platform enables efficient fusion of extracellular vesicles with lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), generating hybrid nanocarriers with enhanced cargo loading and delivery potential. The shear‐induced mechanism within confined droplets improves fusion efficiency, providing a scalable and tunable strategy for engineering ...

Abstract Background Neuroendocrine carcinoma of the prostate is a rare tumor subtype found in the spectrum of prostate cancer, and is more difficult to detect, due to the low prostate‐specific antigen values associated with it. A high degree of suspicion is hence needed to arrive at the diagnosis in such cases.

STIM1/Orai1-mediated store-operated Ca2+ entry: the tip of the iceberg [PDF]
Highly efficient mechanisms regulate intracellular calcium (Ca2+) levels. The recent discovery of new components linking intracellular Ca2+ stores to plasma membrane Ca2+ entry channels has brought new insight into the understanding of Ca2+ homeostasis ...

ABSTRACT Background Globally, gastric cancer (GC) ranks as the fourth most deadly and fifth most prevalent kind of cancer. Appropriate treatment methods, precise etiology, and molecular processes of GC are still unclear. Methods In silico and quantitative real‐time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR)‐based expression of miRNA‐27b ...

Deadly Lifeworlds Meet Palliative Politics: Struggle in Circulation
Abstract This paper locates acute and ongoing crises of coloniality and ecology within struggles over circulation that are anchored in infrastructure. If infrastructure organises movement—including its constraint in carceral forms—then it is also a linchpin for materialising distinct regimes of motion (Nail 2020a; Marx in Motion: A New Materialist ...

Tumour progression shows decrease in PD‐L1 expression in matched metastases/primary uveal melanomas
Abstract Purpose Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have revolutionised the treatment of several malignancies. However, the results of ICI therapy remain unsatisfactory in metastatic uveal melanoma (UM). We analysed the expression of PD1, PD‐L1, T‐cell and macrophage markers in a set of matched primary and metastatic UM in an attempt to better ...
