Biosorption of Cr (III) from Polluted Water Using Pennisetum clandestinum Hochst (Kikuyo) [PDF]
Given the abundance of kikuyu biomass resulting from the pruning of green areas, the aim of this study was to evaluate its use as a biosorbent (BK) for Cr (III) removal from polluted waters. The biomass was activated using H2SO4 (1.25%) and NaOH (3.25%).

MicroRNA (miRNA) in Plasma Small Extracellular Vesicles (sEV) as Potential Early Indicators of Dairy Cow Subfertility. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Pregnancy and live birth rates are commonly used metrics to define fertility in humans and animals. The impact of aberrant microRNA (miRNA) expression on fertility‐related genes represents a significant knowledge gap in understanding post‐transcriptional regulatory mechanisms associated with reproductive dysfunction.

Influence of Acidity on Growth and Biochemistry of Pennisetum clandestinum
Hydroponics were used to study the impact of acidity on growth, nutritive properties and metabolic changes in kikuyu grass (Pennisetum clandestinum Hochst). Four treatments (pH 6.0, 5.0, 4.0, and 3.0) were compared for effects on biomass, leaf and root length, crude protein, amino acid content and key enzymes of sugar metabolism.
