Nuclear magnetic double and triple resonance studies on pentafluoropyridine
Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions 2, 1972Removing the broadening effect of the 14N nucleus by strong irradiation has made it possible to determine all the relative signs of the FF coupling constants in pentafluoropyridine by double and triple resonance experiments. It is also shown that the coupling constants depend upon solvent.

Tetrahedron, 1989Abstract Irradiation of a cyclohexane solution of pentafluoropyridine and 1-phenyl-2-alkylacetylenes produced regiospecific 2+2 photocycloaddition, thus forming 3-aza-bicyclo[4.2.0] octa-2,4,7-triene derivatives, which further phototransformed to 7-aza-tricyclo[4.2.0.0 2,5 ]octa-3,7-diene derivatives.
