Direct synthesis of singular silver dendrites over TiO2 nanotubes using pentetic acid as capping agent

Materials Letters, 2020
Abstract Silver dendritical nanostructures are known for their interesting electronic and optical properties compared to other Ag morphologies, vastly utilized for covering TiO2 nanotubes. However, multiple steps are required to assemble both of these structures.

Synthesis and therapeutic testing of mono- and dialkyl esters of pentetic (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic) acid for decorporation of polymeric plutonium.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1979
The synthesis, characterization, and therapeutic evaluation of a series of partially esterified derivatives of pentetic (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic) acid are reported. These compounds were prepared in an attempt to promote increased decorporation of insoluble colloidal forms of plutonium, which are removed by pentetic acid alone.

A comprehensive study on the removal of Cd(II) from aqueous solution on a novel pentetic acid-clinoptilolite nanoparticles adsorbent: Experimental design, kinetic and thermodynamic aspects

Solid State Sciences, 2020
Abstract Synergistic effects of ion exchange and complexation in Cd(II) removal was studied by the modification of nanoparticles of clinoptilolite zeolite (NCP) by pentetic acid (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid: DTPA) as a family of EDTA. XRD, FT-IR, BET, TG-DTG, and SEM-EDX were used for the characterization of the NCP and NCP-DTPA.

Final Report on the Safety Assessment of Pentasodium Pentetate and Pentetic Acid as Used in Cosmetics

International Journal of Toxicology, 2008
Pentasodium Pentetate and Pentetic Acid function as chelating agents in cosmetics. Pentasodium Pentetate is readily soluble in water, but the corresponding free acid is not. Pentasodium Pentetate is used in almost 400 cosmetic products over a wide range of product categories, although it is mostly used in hair dyes and colors at use concentrations of ...

Gadolinium-pentetic acid magnetic resonance imaging in patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis.

Archives of Neurology, 1992
Ten patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis have been studied by serial gadolinium-pentetic acid magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) every 14 days for 3 months. At the end of the follow-up, seven relapses occurred in six patients; no therapy was administered during the study.

Aerosol characteristics of 99mTc-pentetic acid (DTPA) and synthetic surfactant (Exosurf).

Chest, 1994
This study evaluated the feasibility of using 99mTc-pentetic acid (DTPA) as a radioactive tracer for aerosolized synthetic surfactant (DPPC, cetyl alcohol, tyloxapol). The 99mTc-DTPA was admixed with surfactant and aerosolized using a nebulizer system interfaced to a ventilator with a cascade impactor attached to the endotracheal tube.
