The Route to Artery Mimetics: Hybrid Bioinks for Embedded Bioprinting of Multimaterial Cylindrical Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The fabrication of a cellularized, multilayered 3D printed cylindrical model comprising hybrid bioinks inspired by the natural extracellular environment as an approach to artery mimetics, is presented. Using embedded bioprinting, interlayer crosslinking of self‐supporting concentric cylinders is achieved.

Association of infection with gastroesophageal reflux disease

open access: yesJournal of International Medical Research, 2019
Objective Many studies have shown that Helicobacter pylori ( Hp ) is negatively correlated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Moreover, some studies deny that eradication of Hp increases the incidence of GERD.

Embedded 3D‐Coaxial Bioprinting of Stenotic Brain Vessels with a Mechanically Enhanced Extracellular Matrix Bioink for Investigating Hemodynamic Force‐Induced Endothelial Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, a physically enhanced vascular dECM bioink and used 3D‐coaxial bioprinting are developed to fabricate mature brain blood vessels for cerebral atherosclerosis research. This model demonstrates that vascular geometry‐induced hemodynamic changes trigger vascular inflammation, ensuring its potential for cerebrovascular research.

Helicobacter pylori Eradication within 120 Days Is Associated with Decreased Complicated Recurrent Peptic Ulcers in Peptic Ulcer Bleeding Patients

open access: yesGut and Liver, 2015
Background/AimsThe connection between Helicobacter pylori and complicated peptic ulcer disease in peptic ulcer bleeding (PUB) patients taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs has not been established.

A collection of the etiological theories, characteristics, and observations/phenomena of peptic ulcers in existing data

open access: yesData in Brief, 2018
In this article, we compiled 13 etiological theories, 15 characteristics, and 81 observations/phenomena of peptic ulcers, reported in reproducible, peer-reviewed studies from the literature, to reflect the historical evolution of studies on peptic ulcers

[Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug and Aspirin-induced Peptic Ulcer Disease].

open access: yesThe Korean journal of gastroenterology = Taehan Sohwagi Hakhoe chi, 2016
Despite decreasing Helicobacter pylori prevalence, the prevalence of peptic ulcer disease is increasing in the aged population, mainly due to increasing use of NSAIDs to manage pain and inflammation.

Mechanically Tunable Bone Scaffolds: In Vivo Hardening of 3D‐Printed Calcium Phosphate/Polycaprolactone Inks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D bone scaffold with osteogenic properties and capable of hardening in vivo is developed. The scaffold is implanted in a ductile state, and a phase transformation of the ceramic induces the stiffening and strengthening of the scaffold in vivo. Abstract Calcium phosphate 3D printing has revolutionized customized bone grafting.

Rapid Deep Vat Printing Using Photoclickable Collagen‐Based Bioresins

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Collagen‐based resin formulations based on thiol‐ene photoclick chemistry are demonstrated. These resins enable easy handleability under neutral conditions and further allow facile fabrication of multicellular tissue constructs via tomographic or FLight printing.
