Quetzal: Comprehensive Peptide Fragmentation Annotation and Visualization

open access: yesJournal of Proteome Research
Proteomics data-dependent acquisition data sets collected with high-resolution mass-spectrometry (MS) can achieve very high-quality results, but nearly every analysis yields results that are thresholded at some accepted false discovery rate, meaning that a substantial number of results are incorrect. For study conclusions that rely on a small number of

Effect of PEG crystallization on the self-assembly of PEG/peptide copolymers containing amyloid peptide fragments

open access: yes, 2008
The effect of poly(ethylene glycol) PEG crystallization on P-sheet fibril formation is studied for a series of three peptide/PEG conjugates containing fragments modified from the amyloid P peptide, specifically KLVFF, FFKLVFF, and AAKLVFF.

Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

Cell Cycle Control of Nuclear Metabolism Couples Phosphatidylinositol Signaling to Histone Methylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nuclear metabolism oscillates during cell cycle progression. Quantitative chromatome proteomics and imaging reveal phase‐specific dynamics of PIP5K1A and nuclear PIP2, linking phosphatidylinositol metabolism to histone methylation. This work identifies nuclear lipid metabolism as a previously unrecognized regulatory axis coordinating chromatin ...

Greener Cleavage of Protected Peptide Fragments from Sieber Amide Resin [PDF]

open access: yes
Following the successful introduction of two benign solvents for cleaving protected acid peptide fragments from 2-chlorotrityl chloride (2-CTC) resin, there is a need to green the cleavage process for obtaining protected peptide amide fragments.

In Vivo Quantitation of Collagen/Gelatin Fragments Using HPLC-MS/MS Detection of Peptide Markers

open access: yes, 2017
Collagen/gelatin fragments are often polydisperse and heterogeneous, making them difficult for quantitation, especially during in vivo circulation. In this study, a new quantitation method was established based on the detection of collagen-specific ...

Tailoring Vascular‐Immune Homeostasis via Manganese‐DNA Complex‐Armed Immunogenic Extracellular Vesicles for Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,
