Studies on the Formation of Peracetic Acid
The Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1960 過酸化水素と酢酸より過酢酸を生成する反応について,合成と関連した二,三の理論的研究を行なった。過酢酸生成のさいの平衡定数は25ないし45℃において,K=3.26あった。なお過酢酸の加水分解より25℃の平衡定数を求めた場合も,これに近い値を得た。硫酸触媒を用いたさいの過酢酸の生成速度を検討し,活性化エネルギー11.7kcal/molを得た。また反応速度定数は硫酸および塩酸の場合は,酸のモル濃度にほぼ比例するが,リン酸ではこの関係から,はずれることを認めた。
