The pholidota‐inspired electronic skin is successfully constructed, originally realized four‐state reversible switching of terahertz‐wave reflection, absorption, transmission, and secondary reflection. In response to external demands, it issues deformation instructions, verifies the deformation state after the equipment executes the action, and thus ...

Perfect secrecy cryptosystem with nonuniform distribution of keys
More strictly mathematical concepts of infinite perfect secrecy and random “one-time pad” cryptosystem in theory were presented, and the whole secure communication system was divided into two stages:design of a basic cryptosystem and one of its ...

A Real Orthogonal Space-Time Coded UWB Scheme for Wireless Secure Communications
Recent research reveals that information security and information-hiding capabilities can be enhanced by proper exploitation of space-time techniques. Meanwhile, intrinsic properties of ultra-wideband (UWB) signals make it an outstanding candidate for ...

We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

Secrecy Balancing over Two-User MISO Interference Channels with Rician Fading
This paper considers a 2-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) interference channel with confidential messages (IFC-CM), in which the Rician channel model is assumed.

Perfect Secrecy in the Wild: A Characterization
Alice wishes to reveal the state $X$ to Bob, if he knows some other information $Y$ also known to her. If Bob does not, she wishes to reveal nothing about $X$ at all. When can Alice accomplish this? We provide a simple necessary and sufficient condition on the joint distribution of $X$ and $Y$.

Symmetric-key Authenticated Key Exchange (SAKE) with Perfect Forward Secrecy [PDF]
Key exchange protocols in the asymmetric-key setting are known to provide stronger security properties than protocols in symmetric-key cryptography. In particular, they can provide perfect forward secrecy, as illustrated by key exchange protocols based ...

Site‐Specific Hydroxide Formation and Corrosion on Mg Nanocrystals
Using single‐crystalline Mg nanocrystals, this study uncovers the intrinsic corrosion initiation mechanism. The stability of the protective Mg(OH)2 film depends on its interfacial coherence with the Mg substrate. Corrosion initiates at exposed corners, where film coverage is incomplete.

Analysis and improvement of an ID-based authenticated key agreement protocol
The security of a recently proposed ID-based authenticated key agreement protocol was analyzed. Although it is provably secure in the standard model, a malicious PKG (private key generator) can still obtain all of the agreed ses-sion keys, that is, it ...
