Large Temperature‐invariant Anomalous Nernst Effect in Non‐collinear Antiferromagnet Mn3Pt
Based on the noncollinear antiferromagnetic Mn3Pt thin films, the composition‐tunable Mn‐3d orbital states directly govern the Berry curvature. As a result, a giant and temperature‐invariant anomalous Nernst coefficient of 0.71 µV/K is achieved under Mn‐rich conditions.

Access to Finance and Innovation in the Canadian Food Processing
ABSTRACT Innovation is a presumed channel through which finance affects productivity, yet there is limited research testing the relationship between finance and innovation in the food manufacturing sector. The purpose of the paper is to explore the determinants (e.g., financing, R&D, firm size, expenditure on innovation) of the adoption of innovation ...

RFID Ownership Transfer with Positive Secrecy Capacity Channels
RFID ownership transfer protocols (OTPs) transfer tag ownership rights. Recently, there has been considerable interest in such protocols; however, guaranteeing privacy for symmetric-key settings without trusted third parties (TTPs) is a challenge still ...

Alternative Policy Designs to Help Farmers Select Profitable Conservation Practices
ABSTRACT Voluntary private carbon initiatives (VPCIs) promote the implementation of agricultural conservation practices that mitigate emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) via financial incentives to participating farmers. Simultaneously, an array of public policies supports the adoption of conservation practices through technical and financial ...

ABSTRACT European agriculture is increasingly exposed to economic instability driven by extreme weather events, market volatility, and geopolitical tensions. To manage these growing risks, farmers are encouraged to adopt innovative risk management strategies such as the Income Stabilization Tool (IST), which offers protection against severe income ...

Cryptanalysis of e-mail protocols providing perfect forward secrecy
Recently, two e-mail protocols were proposed claiming to provide perfect secrecy. These protocols use authentication and (Diffie-Hellman) key-exchange techniques, and as such, other standard security criteria besides perfect forward secrecy include key ...

This study integrates random matrix theory (RMT) and principal component analysis (PCA) to improve the identification of correlated regions in HIV protein sequences for vaccine design. PCA validation enhances the reliability of RMT‐derived correlations, particularly in small‐sample, high‐dimensional datasets, enabling more accurate detection of ...

On construction of perfect ciphers
K. Shannon in the 40s of the 20th century introduced the concept of a perfect cipher, which provides the best protection of plaintexts. Perfect secrecy means that cryptanalyst can obtain no information about the plaintext by observing the ciphertext.
