Refined and l-adic Euler characteristics of nearly perfect complexes [PDF]
We lift the Euler characteristic of a nearly perfect complex to a relative algebraic K-group by passing to its l-adic Euler ...

THE CLASS OF PERFECT TERNARY ARRAYS
In recent decades, perfect algebraic constructions are successfully being use to signal systems synthesis, to construct block and stream cryptographic algorithms, to create pseudo-random sequence generators as well as in many other fields of science and ...

‘Guide and Prejudice’— How Argonautes recognize targets across domains of life
Argonaute proteins use short nucleic‐acid guides to locate and regulate specific targets across all domains of life. Despite striking diversity—from human gene silencing to bacterial immune defence—all Argonautes share a conserved three‐stage recognition logic: guide‐directed sampling, progressive target pairing with a conformational checkpoint and ...

New Perfect Sequences from Helleseth-Gong Sequences
In this paper, for any given prime power q, using Helleseth-Gong sequences with ideal auto-correlation property, we propose a class of perfect sequences of length qm−1/q−1. As an application, a subclass of constructed perfect sequences is used to design optimal and perfect difference systems of sets.

Unique Form and Some Construction of Uncorrelated Optimal ZCZ Sequences
In this paper, we first prove that any uncorrelated optimal Zero-Correlation-Zone (ZCZ) sequence family arises from Popović’s construction. We then propose a new construction for such families over a polyphase alphabet.

Development of a graphene oxide-based assay for the sequence-specific detection of double-stranded DNA molecules. [PDF]
Graphene oxide (GO) is a promising material for the development of cost-effective detection systems. In this work, we have devised a simple and rapid GO-based method for the sequence-specific identification of DNA molecules generated by PCR amplification.

This study integrates publicly available transcriptomic datasets to identify molecular signatures associated with response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced rectal cancer. By analyzing a combination of multiple cohorts with bioinformatics approaches, we reveal biological pathways and immune‐related features that may improve ...

Global subjective memorability and the strength-based mirror effect [PDF]
Between-list manipulations of memory strength through repetition commonly generate a mirror effect, with more hits, and fewer false alarms for strengthened items. However, this pattern is rarely seen with within-list manipulations of strength.

Research of ZCZ ternary sequence pairs set based on pseudorandom sequence
Pseudorandom sequence was used in zero correlation zone(ZCZ) sequence pairs, and then a new construction method for ZCZ ternary sequence pairs set was presented.
