Arbitrarily Partitionable {2K2, C4}-Free Graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2022
A graph G = (V, E) of order n is said to be arbitrarily partitionable if for each sequence λ = (λ1, λ2, …, λp) of positive integers with λ1 +·…·+λp = n, there exists a partition (V1, V2, …, Vp) of the vertex set V such that Vi induces a connected ...

Deep Learning Pose Estimation for Phenotyping of Co‐Occurring Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore whether routine outpatient video combined with deep learning‐based pose estimation and clinically interpretable kinematic features can support multi‐label phenotyping of co‐occurring hyperkinetic movement disorders (HMDs).

Enumeration of Perfect Sequences of Chordal Graph [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
A graph is chordal if and only if it has no chordless cycle of length more than three. The set of maximal cliques in a chordal graph admits special tree structures called clique trees. A perfect sequence is a sequence of maximal cliques obtained by using the reverse order of repeatedly removing the leaves of a clique tree.

On a method to improve correlation properties of orthogonal polyphase spreading sequences

open access: yesJournal of Telecommunications and Information Technology, 2003
In this paper, we propose a simple but efficient method for improving correlation properties of polyphase spreading sequences for asynchronous direct sequence code division multiple access (DS CDMA) applications.

Arterial Spin‐Labeling MRI at the Cortical‐CSF Interface: A Novel Biomarker in Alzheimer Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objective Arterial spin‐labeling (ASL) MRI can measure perfusion signal adjacent to CSF spaces and may provide information regarding CSF‐adjacent water transport physiology. We developed an automated pipeline to extract cortical‐CSF interface (IF) perfusion for comparison between Alzheimer disease (AD) and cognitively normal ...

Posterior Disconnection Syndrome in Early‐Stage Adult‐Onset Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Adult‐onset cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy is potentially treatable but often difficult to recognize before advanced cerebral involvement. Herein, we describe three men with early‐stage disease who initially presented with subtle visual complaints rather than subcortical dementia. Targeted neuropsychological testing revealed higher‐order visual

A Construction for Perfect Periodic Autocorrelation Sequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We introduce a construction for perfect periodic autocorrelation sequences over roots of unity. The sequences share similarities to the perfect periodic sequence constructions of Liu, Frank, and Milewski.

Diffuse MRI Edema Predicts Relapse in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy–Related Inflammation

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To identify MRI predictors of relapse and quantify relapse and mortality risk in cerebral amyloid angiopathy–related inflammation (CAA‐RI). A secondary objective was to assess the association between mycophenolate mofetil use and relapse risk. Methods We performed a retrospective cohort study of 36 patients with CAA‐RI treated at the

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.
