The Effect of Interval Training Sets of Maximal Intensity on Metabolic Markers in Master Swimmers

open access: yesProceedings, 2019
Aim: Regular swimming training is gaining popularity among adults for health and competition. The acute effects of high-intensity interval swimming are largely unknown in such populations. Thus, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of

Blood Lactate and Maximal Lactate Accumulation Rate at Three Sprint Swimming Distances in Highly Trained and Elite Swimmers

open access: yesSports, 2023
We examined the blood lactate response, in terms of the maximal post-exercise concentration (Lamax), time to reach Lamax, and maximal lactate accumulation rate (VLamax), to swimming sprints of 25, 35, and 50 m.

Semantic-Driven Performance Evaluation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We propose a structural operational semantics for mobile and distributed agents. From it we derive a stochastic transition system labelled by actions and their costs. These costs reflect the (net) architecture on which agents run. We then map stochastic transition systems to Markov chains, and performance evaluation is carried out using standard tools.

Performance Evaluation and Study of Routing Protocols: MANET vs VANET [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In the recent years the number of vehicles on road increases at high speed. A lot of road accidents and traffic congestion emerges. So to control it vehicular ad-hoc network came in picture. In the last few years many protocols were proposed to route the

Application of a Structured Training Plan on Different-Length Microcycles in Soccer—Internal and External Load Analysis between Training Weeks and Games

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
The aim of this study was to apply a training plan to four different-length microcycles (MIC) in soccer and analyze (a) the load within the training weeks and (b) the short-term effect on the matches that were played at the end of each microcycle.
