Volume 2A: Turbomachinery, 2015 This paper considers the effect of aspect ratio on compressor performance. It is shown that the aspect ratio at which max efficiency occurs is relatively low, typically between 1 and 1.5. At these aspect ratios, decomposition of the flow field into freestream and endwall flows becomes difficult.

Within ratio responding during fixed ratio performance [PDF]
Psychonomic Science, 1968 Five rats were trained in steps from FR 10 to FR 120 or FR 160. Response rate increased to a maximum between FR 40 or FR 80 although the reinforcement frequency continually declined from FR 10 to higher ratios. Measurement of interresponse times revealed that changes in within ratio responding were inversely correlated with changes in response rate.

Computation of the marginal contribution of Sharpe ratio and other performance ratios [PDF]
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2021 Computing incremental contribution of performance ratios like Sharpe, Treynor, Calmar or Sterling ratios is of paramount importance for asset managers. Leveraging Euler's homogeneous function theorem, we are able to prove that these performance ratios are indeed a linear combination of individual modified performance ratios.
