The Sarkovskii order for periodic continua II

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 2007
\textit{A. N. Sharkovskij} [Ukr. Mat. Zh. 16, 61--71 (1964; Zbl 0122.17504)] proved that if \(p \prec q\) according to the following ordering of the positive integers, then for any map of the real line to itself with a periodic point of period \(p\), there exists a periodic point of period \(q\).

Nationwide Survey of Atopic Myelitis and Plexin D1‐Immunoglobulin G‐Related Pain

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To elucidate the features of plexin D1‐immunoglobulin (Ig)G‐associated neuropathic pain and its relationship to atopic myelitis (AM) in a nationwide Japanese survey. Methods A preliminary survey questionnaire was sent to 1574 selected departments (neurology and pediatrics/pediatric neurology) to explore the numbers of AM and plexin ...

Insights Into the Antigenic Repertoire of Unclassified Synaptic Antibodies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective We sought to characterize the sixth most common finding in our neuroimmunological laboratory practice (tissue assay‐observed unclassified neural antibodies [UNAs]), combining protein microarray and phage immunoprecipitation sequencing (PhIP‐Seq). Methods Patient specimens (258; 133 serums; 125 CSF) meeting UNA criteria were profiled;

Positive periodic solutions for third-order nonlinear differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
For several classes of third-order constant coefficient linear differential equations we obtain existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions utilizing explicit Green's functions.

Fibrinogen Changes Before and After Intravenous Thrombolysis as Predictors of Cerebral Injury and Clinical Outcomes in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Multicenter Prospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma fibrinogen is essential in thrombosis and fibrinolysis, yet its dynamic changes pre‐ and post‐intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) for predicting brain injury severity and prognosis in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients remain unclear.

Higher order periodic impulsive problems,

open access: yes, 2015
This work studies some two point impulsive boundary value problems composed by a fully differential equation, which higher order contains an increasing homeomorphism, by two point boundary conditions and impulsive effects. We point out that the impulsive conditions are given via multivariate generalized functions, including impulses on the referred ...

Inhibition of Classical and Alternative Complement Pathway by Ravulizumab and Eculizumab

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the feasibility of classical (CH50) and alternative (AH50) complement pathway activity as potential biomarkers for treatment guidance and monitoring during therapy with ravulizumab in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) and compare these to therapeutic drug monitoring under eculizumab.

The Case of a 28‐Year‐Old Woman With Medically Refractory Focal Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We present the case of a 28‐year‐old right‐handed woman with medically refractory focal epilepsy. Her seizure semiology and electroencephalography (EEG) indicated a seizure onset zone in the right central‐parietal area. However, both MRI and PET scans were unremarkable, showing no focal lesions or areas of altered metabolism.
