Periodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes driven by Lévy processes

Journal of Applied Probability, 2002
In this paper, the class of periodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes is defined. It is shown that periodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes are stationary Markov random fields and the class of stationary distributions is characterized. In particular, any self-decomposable distribution is the stationary distribution of some periodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process.

Autonomous and periodic processes

1977
In this chapter, we discuss some fundamental properties of autonomous and periodic RFDEs. Because many of these properties also hold for abstract processes, we will develop the theory in an abstract setting and point out special features that apply to RFDEs.

Optimal control of multivariable periodic processes

Automatica, 1969
The expression ''periodic control'' here means that the process is subjected to control variables which vary periodically with time. If then a periodic state exists, the process is periodic. As far as it concerns theory, a possible improvement compared to optimal steady-state control, depends significantly upon the form of the performance criterion and

Processing Periodic Programs

2016
This chapter introduces you to the basic settings or the special programs you need to run in a number of applications within SAP ERP at the end of each fiscal year in order to ensure that adequate settings and processes relating to the appropriate applications for the following fiscal year is ready for you to work in. You will learn how to perform:

Neural Processing and Representation of Periodicity Pitch

Acta Oto-Laryngologica, 1997
Periodic signals are generated by vocal chords and many other physical sound sources. A theory of temporal analysis of such periodic signals is presented which is adequate to explain details of response properties of neurons in the auditory midbrain as well as psychophysical pitch effects.
